![]() If you are looking for something thrilling to watch, then The Future Diary could be a great choice. ![]() The God of Time and Space tells him that he and one of his classmates are part of a survival game and that the winner will become the god’s successor. The teenage high school student, Yukiteru Amano, gets blessed by the God of Time and Space and every future event happens to be found inside his phone, which describes each and everything that will happen in a day, like a diary. The Future Diary, as the name suggests, gives you information about the events that will take place in the future. When it debuted in the fall of 2011, it caused quite a stir, becoming the second most-watched anime series of the season, trailing only Hunter x Hunter. The series is directed by Naoto Hosoda and Written by Katsuhiko Takayama. The Future Diary, also known as Mirai Nikki, is a Japanese supernatural anime TV series that premiered on October 10, 2011, and is based on the 2006 Japanese manga of the same name by Sakae Esuno. Would I recommend?: Yes I would, unless you don’t like people crying all over the place, time logic, cellphones, pink hair and stalkers. What if someone gives you the chance to look into your future? A diary, perhaps, can give you the chance to plan your future, but once you lose the diary, your future is lost too. At least the tears were done nice since THERE WAS CRYING ALL OVER THE PLACE! ![]() The animation: It was kind of shit…I mean it was good when it counted but sometimes it would erk me to no end because it would get super choppy. I really loved all of it!! Deus is hilarious XD But there is a lot of dying in this thing, i mean.a lot! But its not as bad as other’s I’ve seen *coughdarkerthanblackgodthatthingwasbullshitcough* Ahem…yep. The ending just came out of bloody nowhere but in the good way! It was not predictable except for one tiny little thing but it wasn’t enough to ruin the story. ![]() Story: The story was a very interesting one and you never knew how it was going to go. This guy was fun too! Some others kept making my cry! Other Characters: There are so many characters in this thing that I really wish I could give each one a little spotlight but I’m lazy. I kinda wanted to punch Amano in the face every once in a while but it wasn’t constant x3 Its good writing when your whiny protaginist has a reason to whine…and oh lord is it justified. And he even does the one thing I felt he should of done…and it was hot! He was a great addition to the cast in my opinion.Ĭharacter I would most want to punch in the face: Actually, I don’t have any character I felt that strongly towards. Dude, I’m fabulous.įavorite Character: Akise Aru! Other than the fact that he looks like a Kaworu Nagisa clone, he is super intelligent and is just a hoot when he’s on screen. So I just got finished with watching Mirai Nikki and I have to say it was a very nicely done series. Within this “Diary Game”, the contestants are given special diaries that can predict the future with each diary having unique features that gives them both advantages and disadvantages. However, Yuki soon learns that Deus is not a figment of his imagination but real when Deus makes him a participant in a battle royale with eleven others. Summary: Yukiteru Amano is a loner who never really interact with people and prefers writing a diary on his cell phone with his only companion being an imaginary friend named Deus Ex Machina, the God of Time and Space.
